The Story of Cuidate Oregon
Cuidate Oregon was founded in 2024 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. It began as a program within the OYEN Emotional Wellness Center and has since grown into an independent organization with a clear purpose: to make emotional and behavioral health services accessible for every community in Oregon
Building on a Legacy of Care: Our Journey from OYEN
Our story is deeply connected to OYEN, a Latino, bilingual, and bicultural wellness center created in response to the urgent need for equitable mental health care across the state. Building on this foundation, Cuidate Oregon was formed to reach more people, strengthen community capacity, and open new pathways to dignity, respect, and hope.
